River Valley Montessori of Shakopee

Welcome to Montessori of Shakopee in Shakopee, MN! We offer a hybrid Montessori learning environment and child care for children ages six weeks to six years, including Infant, Toddler, and Primary programs.

Our prepared learning environments provide a wide range of high-quality materials that support exploration in practical life, language, cultural studies, and Spanish. In addition to classroom learning, children participate in problem-solving experiences across science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM), helping them build curiosity, independence, and confidence.

We take great care to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. Our school features coded entry doors, and all staff members are CPR and First Aid certified. Teachers also participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed on the latest early childhood education practices and best support the children and families in our care.

At Montessori of Shakopee, we treat our children, families, and teachers as an extension of our own family. Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and secure environment, and we maintain an open-door policy so families always feel connected to their child’s experience.
