Welcome to River Valley Montessori of Bloomington, a Montessori Unlimited school!

We offer a thoughtfully designed hybrid learning environment that blends Montessori methods with our Learn From The Start and Learn As We Grow curriculum. These personalized learning experiences support development and discovery while inspiring a lifelong love of learning that extends well beyond a child’s time in our school.

The first few years of a child’s life are critical to the development of personality and intellect. At River Valley Montessori, we provide daycare and early learning programs for children ages six weeks to six years. Our Infant program offers nurturing, individualized care, while our Toddler classrooms encourage independence and freedom within a prepared learning environment. In our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, children explore hands-on experiences that help build confidence, independence, and creativity. Our classrooms feature high-quality materials in practical life, language, cultural studies, and Spanish. Students also engage in problem-solving experiences across science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.

We take great care to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. Our school features coded entry doors, and all staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid. Teachers participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. We strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where children and families feel like an extension of our own community, and we maintain an open-door policy for all families.
